"What is my comment on the newly approved Parties?", I was asked this morning by a reporter.
I told him that it is all right with STAR. There is no good reason for the government to withhold any registration of any party as it is the right to start a new Party if they are not happy with any of the existing ones. Should too many parties affect our National Security. Unlikely!
Our Freedom to associate and discuss must be respected. STAR believes that the new generation of voters would be matured that they would not be easily hoodwinked. A two Party system will only work when there are two clear choices offered by the system. As of now we have BN and PR which operates on a principle that one is better than the other but in fact two sides of the same coin!
