‘Projek IC’ back to haunt Malaysia federation - DATUK DR. JEFFREY KITINGAN

The name in the MyKad (770818-12-6721) Ardi Hamza indicates he is from Tawau, but a check at his address shows it does not exist and neither do the people living in the area know him.
So is Ardi an Indonesian who somehow got a fake MyKad or a genuine one which is now deemed a fake as he has turned out to be a crook.

‘What an irony that when the Government established Eastern Sabah Security Command and Eastern Sabah Security Zone to protect Sabah from external intrusion and invasion, the potential “intruders” are already running all over Sabah previously and now all over Malaysia as “Malaysians” with MyKads given by the government’ – Jeffrey Kitingan

Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan is the Chairman of STAR Sabah and State Assemblymen for N33, Bingkor, Sabah.
He also contested in P180, Keningau garnering 11900 strong votes
KOTA KINABALU: The abuse of the National Registration Department (NRD) facilities by certain political groups to serve their political agenda has now reached national proportions that could eventually destroy the nation.

STAR Sabah Chief Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan said the issue if left unresolved, had far-reaching consequences.

The Bingkor Assemblyman opined that whether or not they are fakes these Mykads are likely to be the product of the Project IC in Sabah.

Commenting on the recent arrest of 20 security guards with fake Mykads, he said there is now a serious problem in identifying who is a genuine Malaysian and who is not, because of the rampant unlawful issuance of MyKads to foreigners.

He also questioned the claim that those Mykads are fake ones.

“How is it possible for the companies to recruit these people in the first place, if they didn’t have a genuine MyKad. Or, do they (MyKads) become fakes only if they do something wrong?” he asked.

“The government cannot and should not continue to deny the existence of the so-called “Project IC” or whatever name they are called and there are evidences that the issuance of dubious MyKads are happening.

“People are now wondering what is going to happen to the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) which has recently concluded hearings for this purpose?” he said.

Dr Jeffrey added that it was an irony that when the Government established Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM) and Eastern Sabah Security Zone (ESSZONE) to protect Sabah from external intrusion and invasion the potential “intruders” were already running all over Sabah previously and now all over Malaysia as “Malaysians” with MyKads given by the Malaysian government.

He claimed that in many cases, these Mykads were hand delivered personally by Malaysian government officials and Umno leaders.

He further claimed that there could be as many as 1.5 million “Malaysians” with fake MyKads and part of the problem is now exported from Sabah to the Peninsula.

This was judging from the population “explosion” and the extraordinary increase in Sabah’s population from 1960 to 2010 compared to the rate of increase in the Peninsular and Sarawak,

“It is time for all genuine Malaysians to wake up to this problem and make the government responsible for their wrongdoings and resolve them,” he stressed.

EXCLUSIVE: Brunei Malays rejected the Malayan racial game

TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN appealed to "racial brotherhood" with Brunei Malays- but almost without exceptions, the Brunei Malays rejected the Malayan racial game

As A.M. Azahari said, Brunei people prefer to be independent and not ruled by anyone.

His idea of a united northern Borneo Federation was accepted by many Sarawakians and Sabahans as their option for independence in opposition to Malaysia.

The British themselves promoted this idea at one stage.

Almost all family in Brunei had one member in the Brunei "anti-Malaysia Uprising" and they still remember their struggle in stopping Malaya from taking over Brunei.

EXCLUSIVE: Omar Ali Saifuddin of Brunei saw through the Britain/Malaya plot

OMAR SAIFUDDIN ALI OF BRUNEI SAW THROUGH THE BRITAIN/MALAYA PLOT
BDEP Malaysia Stockwell pg 83

In addition to oil and status, Omar Saifuddin would have been influenced by public opinion in Brunei. It is clear that he emerged from the Brunei revolt in no mood to surrender to democratic demands, but at the same time he saw no reason to flout the strong anti-Malaysia feelings revealed by the rising

Sensing widespread opposition to close association with Malaya, he was willing to make a popular gesture. The British had long been urging him to appeal to the wishes of his people, and it was ironic that he chose to do so by rejecting the centre-piece of their Southeast Asian strategy. On his return from London after the July 1962 talks, Omar Ali received a rapturous welcome from the crowd gathered to meet him at the airport.

Bruneians were:

"PARTICULARLY GRATEFUL TO SULTAN OMAR ALI SAIFUDDIN III FOR EXTRICATING HIMSELF FROM A SCHEME THAT WAS HANDED DOWN TO HIM ALMOST AS A FAIT ACCOMPLI BY BOTH THE BRITISH AND MALAYAN GOVERNMENTS".

The Sultan also had a British legal expert advisor, Neill Lawson

9 Cardinals of Sarawak 1941 Constitution

Speculation on Sarawak cession to British Colonial Office in 1946

The original flag of the Kingdom of Sarawak (1848-1946).

Flag of the Kingdom of Sarawak (1946-1973)

There are several theories why Sarawak became a crown colony after WWII. One was, someone saw a document which said Rajah Charles Vyner Brooke was put under house arrest. Another was, Vyner owed too much in estate taxes so the British said if Sarawak is ceded to Britain, the taxes would be waived. Another was, he was induced with a hefty pension. One or several may be the truth, whatever, none is verified as yet.

But it must be remembered that Rajah Charles Vyner Brooke did come up with 9 cardinal principles and Sarawak constitution in 1941, a constitution embodies the very fundamentals of a sovereign nation. The concept was for a devolution of power from rajah to the ppl of Sarawak.

The cession was against the wishes and the will of the people of Sarawak and against our 9 Cardinal Principles and Sarawak Constitution 1941. 16 votes to 19, the 19 were appointed British officers.

White Rajah replies to critics - SARAWAK COUNCIL AND TUAN MUDA BERTRAM BROOKE DOES NOT SUPPORT CESSION TO BRITISH COLONIAL OFFICE

In a letter to the Sunday Times, the Rajah of Sarawak replies to the historian Arthur Bryant (Straits Time, Mar.12) and declares the agitation against the cession has a wholly undeserved romantic appeal which blinds many to realities.

"In all criticisms in Press and Parliament," he says. "I looked vainly for a single constructive suggestion which would contribute towards a happier future for the natives. All that is urged is a return to the good old days which were good only for British residents and not for the native"

The Rajah then elaborates the argument by revealing what he calls "stark truth" about Sarawak of the past when he says that his father's policy was to support the virile Sea Dayak types against all other tribes, which led to indiscriminate slaughter.

There were also no free Press, no opportunity for the natives to ventilate their numerous grievances, and no adequate educational and medical facilities. State revenues were derived from opium, gambling, pawn and spirit farms, mineral wealth and State-monopolized rubber small holdings established by extinguishing thousands of acres of rice lands, and as a result poverty was rife whenever the rubber price fell.

The Sunday Times comments that the mission of Capt. L.D. Gammans, and Lieut. Col. D.R. Rees Williams will constitute a new stage in the Sarawak controversy, the mission being, no doubt, an attempt to pacify Parliamentary opinion now deeply disturbed by the revelations of the official handling of the Sarawak and Malayan problems.

But it will be hard to believe that the issues will be put fairly to the Sarawak Council until the Tuan Muda, Mr. Bertram Willes Brooke, or any other member of the ruling house, who does not support the Rajah's intention to bring the State under Colonial Office rule, is given an opportunity to go to Kuching for stating his case.

The Sunday Times adds that the Tuan Muda has received a telegram from the hereditary Malay chief of Sarawak proper, Dato Patinggi, pleading that he or his son, the Rajah Muda, Mr. Anthony Brooke, should come out with the Rajah on Mar.28

Monumen persidangan pertama Parlimen Negara Sarawak (1867) - HRH RAJAH CHARLES BROOKE

THIS MONUMENT
COMMEMORATES
THE CENTENARY OF THE FIRST MEETING
OF THE COUNCIL NEGRI OF SARAWAK HELD
AT THIS SITE ON 8TH SEPTEMBER 1867

Bintulu was the birthplace of Sarawak Council Negri in 1867, a wooden house, very humble beginnings. Sarawak established probably the first in the region a law-making assembly. Comprising British officers and local native leaders, nevertheless no one dared to object to the Rajah's wishes!

Anglo-American collusion and Tunku tactics saved the day - LINA SOO

ANGLO-AMERICAN COLLUSION AND TUNKU TACTICS SAVED THE DAY
Excerpt from BDEP Malaysia by A J Stockwell pg 78

Decolonization through the integration of a non-self-governing territory with an already independent state would be regarded as legitimate that, firstly the acceding territory had ‘attained an advance stage of self-government with free political institutions’, and secondly its peoples had expressed their wishes through democratic processes based on universal adult suffrage.

In September 1962 a joint appeal from the United National Pasok Momogun Organization (North Borneo), Party Rakyat Brunei and the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party requested UN intervention to prevent the transfer of sovereignty without the exercise of self-determination.

The British had carefully monitored all such submissions and mentored Malayan representatives in techniques of lobbying for UN support.

The last and potentially most damaging appeal to the UN was submitted following an agreement at the Manila summit in August 1963 between Tunku, Macapagal and Sukarno, for UN intervention (Manila Accord, 31 July 1963)

The British argued that the legitimacy of Malaysia had already been established; so far as North Borneo and Sarawak were concerned it rested on the Cobbold Enquiry, the report of the IGC, resolutions in the legislatures of the Borneo colonies and recent popular elections.

To cut a long story short: It was urgent the British had to push Malaysia through. It was imminent the Singapore PAP regime would fall to left-wing Barisan Socialis in the general election (LKY reportedly threatened Britain and Malaya with the prospect of a Cuba at the doorstep).

The British were apprehensive the Manila Accord would deteriorate Anglo-American solidarity and affect Britain’s use of the Singapore base. Mcmillan and Kennedy came up with the UN Assessment solution to appease Indonesia and Philippines. Before commencement of the Assessment, the new Malaysia date of 16 September was already fixed! Anglo-American and Tunku’s tactics paid off; Malaysia was inaugurated with the ringing endorsement of the UN which endowed the federation with the international legitimacy that it might otherwise have lacked.

Kartun Zunar - JANJI DITEPATI FOR CRONY

Meanwhile...Somewhere in Indonesia.

Budget 2014: Economic Corridor Development Funds - FAIR?

With current political scenario, will Taib be re-elected again? BUT...

WILL TAIB  BE RE-ELECTED WITH OR WITHOUT OUR HELP?

Sorry to say why are we displaying a dependency syndrome all of a sudden? The man (Taib Mahmud) is not indispensable and in fact lots of us want to get rid of him. This man Taib has never helped but sold out Sarawak to Malaya since the 1960s.

Taib rose out of race based politics. It did not happen yesterday but 50 years ago. He and Rahman Yakub were the promoters of race-based politics instead of pluralist parties. The last 50 years have seen how these people divided and ruled the people.

Taib was and is one of the favored sons of UMNO and like his uncle was groomed by them from the 1960s to take power in Sarawak as their proxies. They just followed the Malaya pattern as the article says. They did a great job for the new Malayan colonial rulers. One of Rahman Yakub's daughters is married to one of Najib's brothers. They are thick as thieves.

Neither did Bintulu "takeover" by the federal government (Malaya) did not just happen out of the blue. It was their vision to create the SCORE which subsequently is to exploit the hinterland which is another easy target with sparse population in the way and plenty of natural resources. Hence the Bakun dams etc. to provide the power to run their industries not the people's industries.

This plan was on the books since Bintulu was developed into a hub in the 1980s. They are just extending their project using it as the base. Taib has all his fingers in the pie!

Can't we plan to stand on our own 2 feet? We have aspired for such a day and the only to do it is to get rid of all the rubbish politicians and replace them with a truly self-reliant parliament free from the outside interference of Malaya.

OUR PRIMARY ROLE IS TO AWAKEN THE PEOPLE

Bintulu Port, Bakun Project - MALAYAN TAKEOVER OF SARAWAK?

BINTULU PORT - MALAYAN TAKEOVER?

Bintulu Port
Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd rakes in billions in profits. Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd was built by the federal government (Malaya) which is owned by Federal so called Minister of Finance (MOF), which handles all the shipping of Sarawak oil&gas and other resources, here, of course the money go into federal  government (Malaya) pockets. This is one example of takeover by Malaya of Sarawak economy and wealth.

Since Bintulu Port is own and manage by the federal government (Malaya), that is why they (federal government a.k.a Malaya) are building the gas pipeline from Sabah to deny Sabahans the revenue and benefit of natural gas. Whatever UMNO-BN does , it is just endless stealing from Sabah and Sarawak.

Isn't it a contradiction to vote back the man (Taib Mahmud) who is backing Malayan's Bintulu takeover plan? The reality is that he would probably get back in because he can afford to buy votes with our money. Supreme irony of colonial domination. Taib is just the local proxy colonial master with what ever his sweet words are.

If Oppositions working together, they might manage to be in a stalemate with BN at Federal and Sarawak state level, then the condition will be ripe for major political ideas like autonomy and independence of Sarawak to take root. If BN is strong, the government would throw anyone who talks or protest about independence in jail.

Now as far as the Bintulu story is concerned, Taib could not hand Bintulu to Mahathir because the Sarawak state opposition PBDS with Abdul Rahman Yakub was very strong. There was strong condemnation when it was reported that MLNG even employ an office boy from Malaya. So, it would be "misplaced trust" to think that somehow Taib is a Sarawak patriot and nationalist. Quite the contrary, upon his departure from the political scene sooner or later, if there is a stronger opposition, than democracy and free speech may flourish. That will be the time to press for more autonomy or even independence through peaceful mean.

BAKUN - ANOTHER MALAYAN TAKEOVER?

Bakun Project
Lest people forget, Taib sign away Bakun to MOF also. So now, Ministry of Finance generates electricity and sell it to Sarawak Energy. The state is buying electricity from the once-mighty Rajang river, from the Federal Government. The Bakun water catchment area is the size of Singapore. Taib cedes the territory and the natural water resource to Federal. And that's not all. The electric tariff is set by MOF. Which mean that SCORE cannot attract investment on account of cheap electricity. That is also not the kicker. Since MOF owns the power generation, like a capitalist - Federal owns the means of production in SCORE. If as anyone can see, all Federal fundings are concentrated in SCORE, it stands to reason that Sarawak loses control of her land and water resource just like the O & G resource. And then, in 2014 as in 1974 - the Taib family is the center of all that goes on.

That's why I said above, there is an arrangement. I think you know who owns Sarawak Energy. I said this in the SAPO "Homepage". It was a government body before, but later someone said it is better to be privatized. But of course, not many Sarawakians knew and understood what actually the intent to privatize. Who benefited from this privatization. And why the Bakun dam needed to be sold to the MoF and then MoF sells back the electricity to Sarawak Energy. Does anyone of us know and understand what was the deal behind the curtain? This is all game people to keep themselves billionaire until they vanish from planet earth.

IT ALL STARTED 50 YEARS AGO
MALAYANIZATION OF SARAWAK

Sarawak Constabulary "ended" in 1963

In 1963, the Royal Federation of Malayan Police (RFMP), the North Borneo Armed Constabulary and the Sarawak Constabulary were merged to form the Royal Malaysia Police. The Singapore Police Force became a component unit of the RMP until Singapore's independence in 1965.

You can see the pattern "Federal" taking over "Sarawak state" in stages. First, it was our sovereignty and country was ceded to Malaya, then Malayanisation, Federal police replace local polices (Sarawak Constabulary), then Malayan teachers takeover, and on and on... We will be totally colonized very soon and Taib has helped them since 1960s. Let's not be fooled by him again and again. He is just a master of deception.

Fed federalize everything and Malayanize our economy and tried to Malaynize our people, the rot is irreversible, there is no way out but to break free.

Of course BN loyalist in Sarawak with federal BN have mocked us around much, to say the least. It all started 50years ago once we "agreed to federate" with Malaya. The only thankful thing is we have not degenerated to the level of Sabah yet. It may be only a matter of time. There is no political solution as yet. So we are trying the peoples' initiative, to start with raising our case in the British court and trying to win international support, and get UN attention. Internally politically, whoever is the Government is of no consequence as it does not bring us the solution. Of course a weak government with a strong opposition makes for a stronger "rakyat" voice and opens up a small window of opportunity to initiate peoples' action, we are in that scenario now and this may not arise again in the next 50 years. Might as well, the current status quo is the best position now
