OUTSPOKEN: Let us give it to Tan Sri Dr James Masing. Of late, he has been making music pleasing to the ears of many Sarawakians. Oh yes, he knows how to write meaningful lyrics and compose popular tunes. He is also adept at choosing the right time to sing his more popular numbers and when to shut his trap.
I consider Sarawak’s Senior Minister of Land Development a “superstar” now. He is as versatile as he is evergreen. He is a Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley to the seniors, a Michael Jackson to the middle-aged and a Justin Bieber to the younger set.
