Rajah Brooke butterfly (Trogonoptera brookiana)



Rajah Brooke butterfly (Trogonoptera brookiana) is a green black butterfly native to rainforests of the Malay Peninsula, Borneo, Natuna, Indonesia, and many small island located west of Sumatra (Many, Simeulue, Batu and Mentawai). 

The Butterfly is named by a naturalist, Alfred R. Wallace in 1855, after James Brooke, Rajah of Sarawak.
